Emanuel Winston writes extensively about geo-politics and war, often forecasting coming events in the region of the Middle East, including the relations between Washington and Jerusalem. He has published over 2500 articles in the International Press, both secular, Anglo/Jewish and Hebrew - including U.S.A. TODAY, the NEW YORK TIMES, the WASHINGTON POST, CHICAGO TRIBUNE, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, BOSTON GLOBE, JUF NEWS, MIDWEST JEWISH WEEK, the NEW YORK JEWISH PRESS, and THE MACCABEAN - as well as MA’ARIV and THE JERUSALEM POST. He also publishes technical articles in such military journals as U.S. DEFENSE NEWS. He was also Political Editor for the NATIONAL JEWISH NEWS/ISRAEL TODAY.
He has given hundreds of radio and television interviews on these topics - over 150 during the Gulf War and was ABC’s Chicago expert on the MidEast. Mr. Winston travels to Israel 3 to 4 times a year where he meets with key government and industry officials, offering an American perspective.
He is founder of the WINSTON INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF PREJUDICE. He organized two 4-day International Congresses in Jerusalem on Prejudice, Discrimination, and Conflict by the WINSTON INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF PREJUDICE AT BAR ILAN UNIVERSITY with 100 participating scientists from the world over.
Winston has been an INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE for the JAFFEE CENTER OF STRATEGIC STUDIES at TEL AVIV UNIVERSITY for twelve years and has been a member of the INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF GOVERNORS for the WEIZMANN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE for 25 years.
